Newman University is hosting an Ugly Sweater 5k Run/Walk to support the Make-a-Wish Foundation on Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. Come support a good cause and break out your ugly sweaters!
Newman’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee is raising money to make dreams come true for ill children. The event will take place on the Newman campus from 10 a.m. to noon. This run is not timed, but the ugliest sweater wins a prize. The event is Christmas themed and hot chocolate will be provided.
Registration fee is $20 per individual or $10 with a student ID.
