National Alumni Association accepting nominations for new board of director members

The Newman University National Alumni Association is accepting nominations to elect four new members to its Board of Directors for 2013-2014. The alumni association brings together alumni through a variety of events and activities. The association's mission is to enhance the interests and reputation of the university and to achieve a closer fellowship between alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the community. The association also encourages support for scholarships, promotes professional development of students and alumni, and fosters a sense of pride and commitment to Newman. While no single characteristic defines an ideal member of the board, the association seeks nominees who are highly enthusiastic about Newman University and committed to attending three meetings per year and assisting with association events and activities.
