Newman University is ranked 15th in an article titled “30 Great Small Colleges for an RN-BSN Degree” published this month by Best Master of Science in Nursing.
Newman is the only Kansas institution to make the list.
The goal of the website is to provide high-quality information to help nursing professionals make sound decisions regarding their nursing education.
According to the Best Master of Science in Nursing site, nursing is one of the most in-demand fields in the United States and an estimated 80 percent of nurses will need their BSN degree by 2020 in order to meet the educational needs of the field.
