Newman students travel abroad over the summer

During the 2015 summer break, Newman University faculty members are leading two international trips for students.

Assistant Professor of Spanish Sonja Bontrager is guiding a group of Newman students in Guatemala this summer in the Guatemala Study and Serve program, to study the local culture and serve disenfranchised members of the communities. The group will also visit El Salvador. Read the full article.

Associate Professor of History Kelly McFall, Ph.D. is leading a group through Europe in the Europe by Rail program. The trip is designed for students to develop an appreciation of other cultures and ideas, and return equipped with effective traveling skills they can carry into adulthood. Read the full article.
