Christian rock band, Rush of Fools, rocked the Newman University campus on March 27.
The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive despite the brisk weather. The cold was overcome by dancing and head bobbing as the crowd surrounded the stage. Others kept warm by huddling under blankets and enjoying warm food provided by the mobile food vendors.
We got a chance to catch some of the concert-goers to see what they thought of the concert.

It’s really cool because everybody comes out here, all the kids from the churches in Wichita come out here, and they learn about Newman. It’s really kind of building the young base to come to Newman when they get to college age.
Sarah Peterson
This is just such an awesome opportunity for us to come out and have some fun, listen to some great music, and bring the community along with it.
Tracy Lindstrom
It’s great to be out here with other people that we know from church and other Christians to be able to participate in fellowship together.
