On Sept. 19, Newman University hosted speaker Kevin Walsh, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law. Walsh’s topic of conversation “Catholic Justice at the Supreme Court” compared the recent rulings of Catholic justices with the amicus briefs filed by the U.S. bishops as a means for talking about the relationship between Catholicism, Catholic justices and the Court/Constitution.
Walsh was a member of the legal team that represented Hobby Lobby in the Supreme Court case regarding the Affordable Care Act. Photos from the event can be found below.
