Only overflow seating remains for the Monday, Sept. 13 presentation “Faith, Hope and Forgiveness” by Rwandan genocide survivor and New York Times best selling author Immaculée Ilibagiza. She survived by hiding for 91 days in a bathroom with seven other women. She was the only member of her family to survive other than one brother who was attending a university outside of the country. A replica of the small bathroom in which she hid is currently on display in the Gorges Atrium. The presentation will be at 7 p.m. on the Newman campus, followed by a book signing. Although admission is free of charge, reservations are required. Read more of Ilibagiza’s story and inquire about tickets.
