On June 7, a 75th birthday celebration was held for women of the Sacred Heart Academy (now Newman University) class of 1964. The “Still Cruising 75 at 75” themed party included a luncheon, birthday cake, class photos from the university archives and even newly made Sacred Heart Academy (SHA) keychains as party favors.
2021 Ablah Awards presented to three outstanding students
Each year, Newman University selects one male and one female recipient for the prestigious Ablah Awards. This year, however, the awards committee decided on two female recipients and one male recipient, all three of whom were announced at the spring commencement ceremony held on Friday, May 7.
