May 1 begins Mental Health Awareness Month and at Newman University, our staff and faculty want to ensure that students and their families are aware of the resources offered.

President Kathleen S. Jagger, Ph.D., MPH, reminds students that “it is OK to not be OK,” but also “to not be afraid to ask for help.”

Students can learn more about Newman’s counseling services, mental health initiatives, crisis numbers and more on the Newman University counseling page.
