On Oct. 5 Newman will host its Annual Fall Alumni Sports Reunion, “Spread the Red.” All alums are encouraged to join their fellow alumni for games, food, and drinks. Alums will also receive a free Newman University Alumni t-shirt.
Golden Heart Club 50th reunion lunch and reception to be held Sept. 28
Members of the Sacred Heart Academy Class of 1963 will gather on Sept. 28 on the university campus to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of their graduation. The event will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m. in the Tarcisia Roths ASC Alumni Center with a reception to follow.

Newman closed for Labor Day Sept. 2

Newman student-athletes earn top academic awards for the sixth time in seven years
For the third straight year, the Newman athletic programs achieved the highest GPA in the Heartland Conference. Newman’s programs combined for a 3.26 grade point average for the 2012-13 academic year. This is Newman’s sixth title in the last seven years.
