A lookalike of the namesake of Newman University, St. John Henry Newman, was recently spotted on campus Thursday, April 14.

Campus Ministry held a challenge to encourage participation during Newman Giving Day on March 1. Thanks to generous donors, Newman Campus Ministry successfully reached its goal of raising $1,000.
In exchange, Chaplain Father Adam Grelinger agreed to make an appearance on campus as St. John Henry Newman — complete with proper attire and “old man” makeup by Assistant Librarian Dyana Baca.
