Party on the Plaza raises $91K for scholarship support

This weekend on Saturday, Sept. 24, Newman hosts its annual “Party on the Plaza” with this year’s theme, “Oktoberfest.” The event will take place from 4:30 to 11:30 p.m. on Founders Plaza, just south of the De Mattias Fine Arts Center on the Newman campus. Kansas turns 150 this year

The state of Kansas turns 150 years old this year, but the state lacks the funds to throw itself a birthday bash.
