Newman announces 2021 staff and faculty excellence award winners
The 2021 faculty excellence award was presented to Larry Straub, Ph.D., associate professor of the school of business, and the 2021 staff excellence award was bestowed upon Celina Marchetti, housekeeper in facilities and housekeeping.
2021 Ablah Awards presented to three outstanding students
Each year, Newman University selects one male and one female recipient for the prestigious Ablah Awards. This year, however, the awards committee decided on two female recipients and one male recipient, all three of whom were announced at the spring commencement ceremony held on Friday, May 7.
