The Newman University Women’s Golf team just won its second tournament of the season at the Lady Buff Stampede on Oct. 6-7 at La Paloma Golf Club. The Lady Jets are now two for two after starting the season winning the Concho River Classic on Sept. 16 hosted by Angelo State University.

Newman closed for Labor Day Sept. 1

Mass of the Holy Spirit to be held on Aug. 28

30th Annual Jet Open Tournament and Kick Off – Aug. 3, 4
After one of its most successful outings in 2013, the Laurie Bell Memorial 30th Annual Jet Open Charity Golf Tournament will look to continue its success in 2014. The entire event, which benefits the Newman University Athletic Department, will be held over the course of two days, Aug. 3 and 4.
Newman University launches new online CT program beginning in fall 2014 semester
Newman University will launch an online program to help healthcare professionals become certified in the field of Computed Tomography – commonly referred to as Cat Scan – beginning in the fall 2014 semester. The online CT program will be included as a concentration in the university’s existing Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Science degree.

Newman University officials have announced the students on the Dean’s List for the spring semester of 2014. Registration day set for July 11
Newman’s final Early Registration Day will take place on Friday, July 11. Early Registration Days allow students to complete necessary items prior to New Student Orientation. These registration days consist of class registration, finalization of financial aid and housing arrangement completion.
