Newman University group to attend beatification of John Henry Cardinal Newman

Representatives from Newman University and the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) will be among the throngs of people expected to attend the Sept. 19 beatification ceremony in Birmingham, England of John Henry Cardinal Newman, the 19th century Catholic theologian and educator for whom Newman University is named.

Koch receives ‘Hero of Mental Health Award’

Assistant Professor and Field Coordinator for the Masters of Social Work Program Barry J. Koch Ph.D., at Newman University in Colorado Springs, Colo., was chosen to receive the “Hero of Mental Health Award” by Aspen Pointe, the central mental health agency in Colorado Springs.
