The Newman University Board of Trustees has approved a 6 percent tuition increase for the 2016-2017 school year. Tuition rates will remain the same for the Advanced Standing program. The men's basketball team defeated University of Texas Permian Basin at the 2016 Winter Homecoming Game.

Newman University basketball hit the road Wednesday, March 2, and headed to Tulsa, to compete in the 2016 Heartland Conference Tournament.
