Women’s basketball wins Heartland Conference Tournament!
The Newman University Women’s Basketball Team is the Heartland Conference champion with a 66-62 win over the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, Saturday, March 3 in Fugate Gymnasium. Newman University student Rebekah Baldridge of Wichita was recently named the recipient of the prestigious Dell Award for undergraduate excellence in science fiction and fantasy writing.
