NU President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D. was one of several female business and city leaders invited to help McConnell Air Force Base celebrate aviation pioneer Emily Warner, who in 1973 became the first female commercial airline pilot.

The university will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labor Day holiday. Regular classes and office hours will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.
