Newman University upgrades Interactive Television Network to benefit students

In the day of MOOCs and online courses, Newman University believes it’s important to not forget about another kind of delivery; a combination of live instruction with a technological twist. It’s Interactive Television (ITV), and though not new, the delivery method still proves to be valuable, and therefore worthy of attention.

On Feb. 28 Newman University will take part in the Wichita Art Day of Giving. As part of the Wichita Art Day of Giving, the Wichita Community Foundation has launched a social media competition and Newman needs your vote! The winning organization will receive $500.

Newman University honors Fall 2013 graduates

The Newman University Fall 2013 Commencement ceremony was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple. A total of 172 graduates were honored in the ceremony, including 40 individuals with associate’s degrees, 88 graduates with bachelor’s degrees, and 44 individuals with master’s degrees.
